The temple of Apollo at Delphi bears the famous inscription ‚Γνῶθι σεαυτόν‘ (Gnothi seauton; english: Know thyself). The longer, corresponding proverb is “Man, know thyself, and you are going to know the gods”.
This is the quest we want to help you with. We provide analyses that aim to clear the mists of habits, false beliefs and unspoken truths in order to improve your view of yourself and your world. Why is help needed? And what enables us to provide it? The individual strengths, weaknesses, and problems are easier to realize through the eyes of another person or, in our case, through the glasses of science.
Our core team consists of researchers from different disciplines (e.g. health science, biology, psychology), complemented by the expertise of external partners. We use validated questionnaires to gather your individual status quo. The data are analyzed and the results are passed back as a detailed report to clear your view on your diet, stress level, job satisfaction, or the respective topic of choice.
Consequently, our name is a portmanteau built from the Gaelic “scathan” and the Swahili “kioo” which both stand for “mirror”.
